Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Hons) from the University of Southampton, a Master’s in Health Psychology from University College London (UCL), BACP-registered psychotherapist with extensive clinical training in NHS-affiliated mental health services, including Shoreham-by-Sea CAMHS and the West Sussex Dementia Service. Her professional experience spans NHS Mill View Hospital, the Samaritans charity, and autism support organizations, where she has provided psychological support and interventions for diverse populations.
Meizhen’s therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy. She has particular experience supporting individuals with challenges related to cross-cultural identity and migration adjustment, attachment patterns and relationship dynamics, anxiety, low mood, and existential concerns, as well as grief, loss, life transitions, and questions around self-worth, identity, and personal growth.
