About PSYWell

PSYWELL was founded in 2019 by a team of mental health professionals with academic backgrounds from leading universities, including the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge. Our practitioners hold recognised professional qualifications and registrations in the UK and/or China, including BACP, UKCP, COSCA, HCPC, BPC, NCIP, and NCH, and are committed to ongoing professional development, clinical supervision, and ethical practice.
All practitioners complete the appropriate level of DBS checks where required and work in accordance with PSYWELL's safeguarding, confidentiality, risk management, and professional standards.
Why Choose PSYWELL?
Grounded in Psychological Research
Our work is grounded in psychological research, evidence-based practice, and professional expertise. Rather than relying on a single approach, we integrate evidence-informed methods to provide personalised support for people of different ages, backgrounds, and needs.
Guided by Professional Standards
We carefully match each client with the most appropriate practitioner based on their individual needs. Our practitioners are committed to ongoing training, clinical supervision, and reflective practice, ensuring that support remains professional, responsive, and tailored throughout the therapeutic process.
Empathy at the Heart of Therapy
We believe meaningful therapy begins with understanding, not judgement. By recognising each client's unique experiences, relationships, culture, and circumstances, we provide a safe and supportive space where people can better understand themselves, reconnect with their strengths, and move forward with greater confidence.
Ethics at the Heart of Practice
Safety, confidentiality, respect, and clear professional boundaries are at the heart of our practice. Our practitioners work within their professional competence, follow the ethical standards of their professional bodies and PSYWELL, and comply with our policies on safeguarding, informed consent, confidentiality, risk management, and referral.
Committed to Learning & Social Responsibility
We believe the role of a mental health organisation extends beyond the therapy room. Through education, research, public engagement, and professional collaboration, we are committed to improving access to evidence-informed mental health knowledge and contributing to a more compassionate and psychologically informed society.
